Throughout my time as an Intern for Florida State University’s Center for the Study and Promotion of Communities, Families, and Children, I have been given a profound insight into the fields of Marketing and Social Work. Below are various examples of my work and marketing strategies I have created during my time as an Intern for the CFC Center.

The IBM Design Sprint, held on September 19, 2019, was an event that focused on finding solutions to crafting the future work experience of the child welfare industry. Job turnover is known to be one of the worst problems facing Florida’s child-welfare system, so my task was to spread awareness and utilize marketing tactics for this event. I accomplished this through the social media platform Instagram, as well as spreading flyers throughout the dorm halls of Florida State University, and also sharing the word about the event through the organizations I am involved in. A task I was assigned at the CFC Center involved spreading awareness of the opioid crisis in Florida. To accomplish my goal, I created two variations of infographics pertaining to this issue. The images were then shared with various organizations in Florida State University, as well as spread across different social media channels.
